The research and development organization within the Aerostructures Group is comprised of all the necessary engineering disciplines required to design, analyze and fabricate modern, complex aerospace systems. Research in recent years has focused on product improvements, primarily for cost reduction and performance enhancements. System development includes noise abatement methods, advanced anti-icing/de-icing methods, and thermal protection systems.
