Three Piece GRID-LOCK®-One of the latest evolutions of the product form is the introduction of separate core pieces. This enhancement allows the designer more freedom in increasing panel depth.
Complex Curvature GRID-LOCK®-Efforts directed towards GRID-LOCK® parts with complex curvature aim to broaden the applications of this advanced technology. Complex curvature poses several new challenges to the process.

High Temperature GRID-LOCK®-Producing GRID-LOCK®from titanium, in addition to aluminum, will broaden the scope of applications to high temperature products. High temperature adhesives and other high temperature bonding methods are currently being examined for increased temperature capability.
